THE COMPANY

MTC was formed in 1942, producing sheet metal work and tubular assemblies for the war department. More recently, components for commercial vehicles and hydraulics formed the majority of the work. Today the company has deliberately become a major source of pipe work for diesel engine components with an emphasis on a wide range of materials and sizes.

We own a 1.5 acre freehold site in Malvern, where the main manufacturing is carried out. The 60,000 sq. ft. factory has undergone extensive alterations to improve work flow and increase production space.

Since 1986, the company has adopted the policy of becoming a single source supplier to our major customers. This has involved working on demanding systems such as Line Set, Kan Ban and JIT. Sales have grown on average by 15% p.a. over the past 6 years, an increase which can be directly attributed to supplying quality products on time. Our turnover is in excess of £5 million.

M.T.C. is keen to expand its manufacturing operation and is actively seeking new opportunities to supply quality components to new customers and new markets. Technically demanding products and high quality service can be offered to all types of industry. We also revise the design of existing production components to promote cost savings through product re-design.
